摘要

In Korea, a small and medium-sized reactor has been developed, which is called SMART (System-integrated Modular Advanced ReacTor). It is an integral type pressurized water reactor with 330 MWt and has such design characteristics as offline cleanup operation and 1 batch fuel loading with EFPD 990 days and so on. Due to such design features different from those of the commercial nuclear reactors, the necessity to develop the method estimating the primary coolant activities applicable to both commercial reactors and SMART has been raised. Hence, the method to estimate the fission product primary coolant activity in SMART is developed and presented in this paper.
