摘要

The 4S core is fast reactor core in which burn-up reactivity loss is compensated by decrement of neutron leakage probability with movement of reflector. For achievement of long core life of 30 years generating 30MW thermal power, a kind of 4S core is designed in which 2.5m length of 20%/24%-Pu-enriched Pu-U-Zr metallic fuel pins are loaded. For accurate estimation of its core life, we have developed burn-up calculation technique taking account of power profiles varied with position of the reflector.
