The response of KALIMER-600 for the various unprotected events has been evaluated. The analysis results show that the KALIMER-600 design is capable of accommodating all the analyzed ATWS events, which guarantees the inherent safety characteristics of KALIMER-600. This self-regulation capability of the KALIMER-600 is mainly due to the inherent and passive reactivity feedback mechanisms provided in the design.
