Based on detailed testing, the ASEDRA software tool with ACHIP denoising improves the effective 'realized' resolution of sodium iodide detectors by a factor of four, depending on the specific application. Therefore, it is expected these algorithms could dramatically impact current detector applications with Nal(Tl).
