摘要

The average fuel temperature used in traditional depletion calculation and preparation of cross section data is lower than the average temperature calculated in our more detailed model. The results of our study show that there is a rather large variation in average fuel temperature between different fuel pins. The calculated fuel temperatures for different pins can't be directly used in the current cross section generation procedure, but they can be used to estimate a more realistic fuel average temperature at fuel assembly level, what should improve cross section data obtained by reference depletion calculations.
