摘要

The results of this study show that while the THIEF model accurately predicts cable failure for isolated cables, it under-predicts time to cable failure of cables located in bundles. As the bundle size is increased or as the location of the cable of interest is located deeper in the bundle, the prediction becomes even less accurate (more conservative).
