An Assessment of the Readiness of Accelerator and Spallation Target Technology for Accelerator Driven Systems: Report of the DOE ADS Whitepaper Working Group

A Working Group was commissioned by the Officernof Science within the U.S. Department of Energy tornassess the readiness of particle accelerator and spallationrntarget technology for the Accelerator Driven SystemrnMission. The results of that assessment, documented in arnWhite Paper entitled Accelerator and Target Technologyrnfor Accelerator Driven Transmutation and EnergyrnProduction [1] will be described.
