IAEA Support of Research Reactor HEU to LEU Fuel Conversion

摘要

The IAEA continues contributing to internationalrnHEU to LEU conversion efforts and broader HEUrnminimization activities including, inter alia those of thernGlobal Threat Reduction Initiative. Important progressrnhas been achieved in the period 2005-2011 in thernexpanded set of new HEU minimization activitiesrninitiated in 2005. These efforts will be maintained,rnstrengthened and expanded in the coming years. ThernIAEA encourages MS to contact pertinent departments atrnthe Agency to seek assistance and make suggestions forrnnew activities in relation with RR and target conversionrnissues.
