Designing, Developing and Implementing High Quality Nuclear Workforce Educational Programs

Through the employer relations developed through the community of nuclear employers, the SRSCRO NWI, ATC has brought together nuclear employers to assist the College on Advisory Boards, support grant applications, provide adjunct instructors, internship programs, tours of facilities, donation of supplies and equipment, and participate on DACUM panels to build the highest quality of programs that result in students graduating with certifications and degrees that are appealing to nuclear employers and save the employers training costs. The nuclear employers provide practical, ongoing dialogue regarding the program learning outcomes, and the critical skills and human performance attributes needed by the industry. A collaborative relationship is essential in determining viable training and education opportunities to meet the needs of the college, students, nuclear industry, and community.
