The CCFL characteristics of steam-condensate two-phase flows in a U-tube were investigated. Two patterns of flow limitations, i.e., CCFL at the lower end of the tube and CCFL in the pipe, were identified and a CCFL correlation for a conservative evaluation of CCFL in a reflux-cooling mode was proposed.
