Transient Analysis of Advanced High Temperature Reactors Using Process Simulation Software

摘要

The transient behavior of the nuclear reactor-IHX-SHX system has been simulated using the process simulation softwares PRO/Ⅱ and DYNSIM. It was found that these softwares hold much promise for modeling the nuclear reactor system of concern. It may be possible to simulate the thermal response of the nuclear reactor through a combination of chemical process equipment consisting of heat exchangers and a chemical reactor.
