摘要

The objective of the DEFOR-RODl test was to investigate the influence of control rod and instrumentation guide tubes on melt fragmentation in water and debris bed formation. The DEFOR-RODl test was successfully performed with pouring three liters eutectic mixture of Bi_2O_3-WO_3 in a tank filled with 380 1 27 K subcooled water. As a main difference to previous experiments performed in the DEFOR-A test series, a rod connecting the discharge nozzle and the bottom of the test section was installed to simulate the control rod guide tube.
