摘要

The results presented in this work show that the AZTRAN code performs well under its own present limitation, as the dependency on external cross sections generated by other code. Nevertheless, the coupling with SERPENT-2 has demonstrate that is working well, as can be seen by the comparisons presented in this paper. Recent developments include the anisotropic scattering (until P4). With this implementation, an improvement in the power distribution, notably in the corners of the lattice, is expected. Finally, it was also proved that the theory and the numerical solution of AZTRAN are well implemented and that SERPENT can be used for the cross sections generation.
