摘要

The work presented in this summary contributes to the development of a novel CubeSat-based surveillance system for on-demand characterization of phenomena pertaining to nuclear security. The phenomena of interest and their signatures were described, an assessment of a cube satellite architecture was made, and its orbital capabilities for observation were studied. Overall, a constellation of multiple CubeSats housing various sensors prove capable of supporting a LEO-based surveillance system for nuclear security.
