Innovative Way to Save Tens of Millions of Dollars and Improve Plant Performance

All utilities are under increasing financial pressures. At the same moment, high levels of performance are expected by both the regulators and the industry. Finding an innovative way to gage performance and make necessary changes is a must. As performance degrades at previously troubled nuclear power plants, there are several common markers. Management and the workforce must understand those common markers, so they can be recognized and arrested to reverse declining performance. Making changes to arrest and improve that performance must be done quickly, accurately, and with high cost avoidance as a basis.
