摘要

Numerical simulation of a shell-tube heat exchanger with liquid sodium is conducted in two different methods -dual-mesh coupled heat transfer porous media model and the actual geometric model. The porous media model is improved by using dual-mesh coupled heat transfer model to get temperature, velocity and pressure field data of the primary and the secondary fluid simultaneously. The results got from the dual-mesh coupled heat exchange porous media model meet well with that got from the actual geometric model and the largest bias between the parameters is 3.41% which proves that the reliability of the dual-mesh coupled heat transfer porous media model. This paper provides a new method to the modeling and designing of heat exchangers.
