Beating drums played by non-trained musicians, chimes struck by novices and maracas shaken by amateurs are the improvised sounds that are music to the ears of a classically trained violinist. For these are the sounds helping Liz Gardiner to change management mindsets. She is producing sound management principles - of a type that have never been heard before. Through improvised music workshop sessions, Liz Gardiner is not so quietly creating an alternative approach to management training. A former professional violinist, Liz is using improvised music as the medium for improving self-awareness, listening skills, management communication and teamwork.
