Ten thousand ITS people spent a September week at the Bella Conference Centre in Copenhagen for the 25th ITS World Congress. The Congress visits Europe every three years so this was a major occasion for ITS (UK) and many of our Members. At a guess, 400 or so UK delegates attended, a respectable showing and a demonstration of how the UK sector understands the international nature of the industry and how there will never be a good time to construct UK-specific transport technology solutions. There is so much knowledge and experience, and such attractive markets, beyond our borders. And judging by the interest in the ITS (UK) & Cubic Transportation joint stand, the non-UK delegates feel the same way about us.
