A programme for sustainable communities - a social, environmental, and economic agenda for the new Parliament

The state of the nation demands delivery of sustainable forms of development. The commitments have been made internationally. The policy foundations have been laid. Methods of public participation have been devised, methods of preparing frameworks for the future of extensive areas of town and country are being established, and innovative methods of construction are under way. With much of the theory in place, efforts must now turn to delivering practical outcomes.
