Erratum to: 'A gap theorem for Lusternik-Schnirelmann π_1 -category' [Topology Appl. 93 (1999) 35-40]

Instead of Lusternik-Schnirelmann π_1-category we define the π_1-cohomological dimension by the cohomology with local coefficients and a gap theorem for closed manifolds is shown to hold for this invariant.
