This is the second edition of this atlas which covers the whole of the EU - plus some countries in between and bordering such as Serbia -and is updated to September 2017. The atlas actually starts with a look at the EU itself, showing details such as accession dates, Euro Zone, left/right hand train operation, track gauge, network length, electrification and type of signalling. One page shows a comparison of how the German PZB and European ETCS systems work. A double page shows an amazing family tree of who's who in EU train operations and the links between the (mainly national) companies. Finally, the introduction lists the EU TEN rail transport corridors.
