InfraLab analyzer

NDC Infrared Engineering continues to do well with its InfraLab at-line NIR tobacco analyzer, which is designed for companies who need to perform multiple-grab sample tests in a primary or GLT process. In practice, the InfraLab is first calibrated to the preferred compendial reference technique used by the customer for moisture, nicotine or sugars measurement, such as Continual Flow Analysis. The InfraLab is then used for routine sample analysis and is robust enough to be used in a processing environment, the key being that it requires no special operator skills. With repeatability better than 0.1 percent, the InfraLab exceeds the criteria for precision demanded by the industry. For laboratory use, the InfraLab can be connected permanently to a PC running NDC's InfraLab710 Software.
