Global Labs Leads in Tobacco Science Scientific Testing, Analyzing and Anticipating Tobacco Regulations

Global Laboratory Services (GLS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Universal Leaf Tobacco Company, Inc. (ULT) of Richmond, VA. GLS has a rich history in analytical services devoted to tobacco, and provides reliable crop protection agent (CPA) residue, genetic and constituent testing in seed, leaf, and finished tobacco products. In 2011, analytical services were expanded to include Hazardous and Potentially Hazardous Compounds (HPHC) in finished products and mainstream cigarette smoke. Since then, GLS has also added services related to the developing regulatory environment and the growing e-cigarette industry.
