A growing number of economists believe Greece and other euro-zone weaklings will ditch the euro in 2012. That would make it easier for those nations to pay off debts. But leaving the stability of the euro would cause prices to rise and at least Initially Increase the wealth gap between Germany and pretty much everyone else. The result: postbreakup, two cups of coffee a day in Athens could cost the average Greek nearly a quarter of his salary.
