Cargo Automated Storage Systems, the Oxfordshire-based manufacturer of storage lifts, has installed a second turnkey-design lift for CNC precision turning company, Qualiturn Products, via Couzens Storage Solutions.rnLocated in Hertford, Qualiturn offers in excess of 10,000 hours per month capacity on an extensive range of CNC turning machines, with more than 250 customers in the aerospace, automotive, surgical and electronic sectors. Following the installation of a 7.5m high Cargo lift earlier this year, for storage of metal bar, complete with bespoke external presentation port, Qualiturn requested a second storage lift from Cargo to accommodate its extensive stock of machine tooling, finished components and machine tool parts.rnTo maximise storage space, the new Cargo lift has been installed behind an access port on a mezzanine floor. The unit is the smallest made so far by Cargo, being 2m wide and just 0.6m deep. Standing 7.5m high, the lift has 40 storage trays supplied on nylon runners to provide smooth and quiet operation.
