VERTEBRATE DIVERSITY OF LALPUR SUB-DISTRICT, NATORE, BANGLADESH

摘要

Conservation of animals is part of the complex relationship among people, resources, environment and development. The present research is not obviously exclusive and is not sufficient to give a clear knowledge about the vertebrates of Lalpur Sub-district. Continuous long term projects are needed to give a good knowledge on the vertebrate biodiversity of the study area, as in other parts. The worldwide changing environment has been producing detrimental effects on both the biotic and abiotic components of the environment. This has a direct impact on biodiversity. Concerted efforts both by the public and private sectors are very much to be solicited to save the biodiversity of the area as is done elsewhere in the world.
