STRENGTHENING THE ENVIRONMENT, FORESTRY AND CLIMATE CHANGE CAPACITIES

The project "Strengthening the environment, forestry and climate change capacities of the Ministry of Environment and Forests and its Agencies" in Bangladesh was officially signed in October 2013. The main goal of this 3-year project is to strengthen human and organizational capacity in the country to deliver more effective, coordinated, sustainable and country-driven investment programs in environmental protection, sustainable forest management and climate change adaptation and mitigation. It envisions three outputs: 1. Environment, Forestry and Climate Change Sectors Country Investment Plan (CIP) developed, adopted, implemented and monitored.
