And whether you're the preppy "sweater girl" type or a "Katharine Hepburn" woman, there are lots of options for ele- gant, pretty, and clever stitched embellishments. Embroidering on lightweight, flat-knit sweaters of almost any fiber content is quite straightforward, as long as you stabilize properly ahead of time and test your embroidery designs.
