摘要

An estimation method is proposed for the activity coefficients of organic electrolytes. It considers the activity coefficient as consisting of three parts: an electrolytic term, a nonelectrolytic one, calculated with the UNIFAC equation, based on group contributions and a third term due to association processes of organic ions. It was observed that γ_(assoc). is a universal function of a reduced concentration, in the case of aqueous solutions of carboxylic acid salts. The signification of the reference concentration used in the calculation of the reduced one is analyzed.
