A Concept for Improving the Effectiveness of Power Supply Systems in the Regions of the Far North

摘要

A scientifically substantiated procedure for improving the effectiveness of power supply systems in remote territories is presented. It is based on the Register of Priority Solutions, which dictates the preferred use of one method or another for electricity and heat production from the standpoint of thermodynamic efficiency. A regional register is proposed that considers the actual conditions of the power industry and the potential of a specific region in achieving energy independence.
