An Experimental Investigation of Heat Transfer in an Air-to-Air Heat Exchanger

Criterial (dimensionless) relationships are proposed for the heat transfer from heating air to a tube wall, from a heat-transfer surface to cold air, and for the overall coefficient of heat transfer through the wall of a heated tube. The relationships were obtained from processing experimental data for a tube-in-tube heat exchanger of a large height.
