Determination of Air Inflow in the Furnace Chambers of Boiler Plants

A new procedure is proposed for the experimental determination of the air inflow in a boiler furnace by comparing relative changes in the flowrates of fuel and organized air at two loads of the boiler, with the excess-air coefficient being simultaneously measured in the operating section of the furnace. The advantages of the technique proposed as compared to that presently used are shown.
