Orbital Solar Power Stations as a Promising Way for Solving Energy and Environmental Problems

The state of and prospects for development of space orbital solar power stations are considered. Known projects of orbital space solar power stations (SSPSs) and problems connected with their construction are reviewed. New conceptual solutions promising essential improvement of the technical and economic indicators of such stations are proposed.
