摘要

The mechanism of gravity separation of particles from the laminar flow of a liquid in a flat channel is studied. This mechanism takes into consideration the particle size distribution, the flow velocity field, and also the conditions for equilibrium of single particles and their structural formations (a layer of particles or non-coalescing drops) on the channel walls.
