MINISTER HIGHLIGHTS BENEFITS OF SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTS

The increasing manufacture and use of sustainable products and materials could save UK households some ￡5bn a year, claimed Climate Change minister Joan Ruddock. Ms Ruddock was speaking to mark the publication of two progress reports from the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA). One report covers the progress made on 'Sustainable Products and Materials;' the other covers the Government's 'Waste Strategy.'
