L'offre présentée sur le salon dans le domaine de la colorimétrie était très complete, reflétant son impertance grandissante dons le textile. Voici en quelques rappels théoriques les prineipaux critères de choix pour orienter les industriels désireux d'investir dans l'outiS correspondant au plus iuste à leurs besoins.%A very comprehensive range of colorimetry equipment was offered at the recent ITMA 99 in Paris, thus reflecting the increasing importance of colour control in textiles. This paper reviews the main criteria to be taken into account by the industrialists when making a choice of the right equipment meeting as closely as possible their specific needs. A spectrophotometer is almost always associated with a control software or a recipe/correction software; the final choice must take into account the textile experience of the manufacturer and the after-sales service availability.
