Creativity is necessary in industrialised countries, particularly as the progresses in communication tools are so quick. Since last ITMA, evolutions have occurred in the following fields: mastering of colours with a real Wysiwyg, development of trade on the Internet requiring a presentation with an improved textile simulation, development of virtual reality, mergers and regrouping of CAD/CAM firms. At the coming ITMA, the criteria for the choice of a system are: colour and its management, digital printing, textile simulation, and integration of CAO within the industrial process.%La création est une valeur ajoutée privilégiée dans les pays Industrialisés.
