Bangladesh building collapse

摘要

In previous correspondence of mine published in New Civil Engineer in the wake of the '9/11 Twin Towers' disaster I advised against the review of design standards to take account of the impact of a large jet aircraft hitting UK structures, such as those at Canary Wharf. The practise I work for has recently been asked to assess other buildings in Bangladesh following the recent horrific devastation there.
