Film Review: The Invisible War

For a moment, one could be watching a recruiting film for the US military, promoting the role of women in the modern armed forces. Men and women speak with pride and patriotism about their decision to join the US military. Yet there is a pervading sense of sadness: 'and then he raped me' hammers the point home. Your reviewer is at a screening of Kirby Dick's award-winning documentary The Invisible War, hosted by the RUSI Under 35s Forum on 11 October 2012 - the first showing in the UK.
