MHR steps up pace of Ropley development

The new boiler shop at the Mid-Hants Railway's Ropley MPD (beyond the existing open-ended boiler works) has been erected and two roads have been laid inside.rnConcreting of the floor is due to be completed during October and it should be fully operational by January.rnAlthough the intention had been to pause after completing this element of the HLF-backed development, the MHR has opted to move immediately to phase 2 - a new carriage and wagon shop - thanks to arnlegacy and the 2009 financial results being good.
