Downpatrick carriage shed project moves forward

Following discussions with the HLF, the Downpatrick & County Down Railway is set to issue a brief to consulting engineers and architecturalrnfirms concerning its planned carriage storage facility (a three-road building with viewing gallery) at Downpatrick. The railway has secured arn'stage one pass' for an HLF grant towards the project (RM Dec 2008) and is confident of progressing the project through the 'stage two' process.
