Virgin Trains' 'Pendolino'-style Mk 3 loco-hauled train entered service in late July.rnAt the beginning of the month, the first two refreshed vehicles were shown to the press and other interested parties at Wabtec Rail's Doncaster Works.rnWabtec has gutted the seating areas in each of the nine carriages - three FOs, five TSOs and an RFM - fitting new windows with laminated glass, new carpets, new seat moquette, new lino in the toilets, and changing the internal vestibule doors to the 'burst-through' type pioneeredrnon FGW HSTs. Wi-fi is being fitted and there are at-seat power sockets for mobile phones and laptops.
