Cambrian revival - trust and society secure leases

The Cambrian Railways Trust and the Cambrian Railways Society each completed leases for sections of the Gobowen to Blodwell line from Shropshire County Council on April 1. This follows agreement between the trust and society on how they will jointly work towards reviving sections of this one-time Cambrian Railways route (RM May). The trust will extend its existing Cambrian Heritage Railway line (based at Llynclys South) to Oswestry, while the society will develop the line from Llynclys Jet towards Blodwell via Porthywaen.
