Passenger numbers on the joint SNCF/SBB TGV services between Switzerland and Paris grew by 10 per cent and the turnover by 16.6 per cent in 2008, compared with 2007.rnNearly 4million passengers were carried, of which half were international travellers.rnThe service from Geneva to Paris achieved a 2.9 per cent growth in passengers, with a 76 per cent load factor, and has exceeded 50 per cent of the total travel market on this route. This is the main route, with 975,000 passengers.rnThe service Zurich-Basle-Paris, with 440,000 passengers and a 75 per cent load factor, won over 60 per cent of the Basel-Paris market.
