The Mainline Steam Heritage Trust has been in existence for more than 20 years and operates out of depots in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.rnMainline Steam was the first organisation in New Zealand to offer long-distance, steam-hauled tours and today is the only organisation capable of offering a variety of locos at the head of its tour trains.
