The method involves accelerating a wet steam- or steam mixture over a device, where the wet steam- or steam mixture is suddenly deflected such that the droplets contained in the mixture is disrupted and re-evaporated. The enthalpy-excess of the superheated steam is used with wet steam portions and for full steam zone to the re-evaporation. The mixture is accelerated to 60 percent of sound speed. An independent claim is included for a device for re-evaporation of wet steam portions of a wet steam- or steam mixture before an expansion machine, particularly of fluids with small surface tension.
