Cotswold Type 2 gets an airing

Class 26 No. 26043 was on display in the yard at Toddington during the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway's spring diesel gala on March 27/28. It is pictured below with Class 37 No. 37215.rnThe Class 26 arrived at Toddington more than 15 yearsrnago and has been undergoing extensive restoration, latterly inside the shed. It was started up, taking power in both directions for the first time in preservation, on December 12. Completion and entry into service is expected later this year.
