Corwen extension objections dwindle

Publication of the Llangollen Railway Trust's intention to apply for a Transport & Works Order to cover its extension from Carrogto Corwen (RM Nov) drew five objections and one representation, but by mid-January, all but two had been withdrawn.rnNone of the objectors opposed the extension in principle and there are hopes that the remaining two (from Welsh Water and the Countryside Council for Wales) will be settled shortly.
