The Ffestiniog Railway Society is attempting to raise finance for two new power bogies for Double-Fairlie David Lloyd George.rnAlthough the loco dates from 1992, its bogies, incorporating much older components, are getting beyond economic repair.rnNearly ￡10,000 has beenrnraised against a projected ￡200,000 project cost.rnA separate appeal has been made for England 0-4-0STT Prince. The loco's boiler ticket expires in May with cash needed to ensure the loco returns to service in time for itsrn150th anniversary in 2013.rnPrince may be displayed in the Severn Valley Railway's Engine House at Highley this summer after expiry of its ticket.
