Track and wagon for closed station

THE Isle of Wight Steam Railway has laid 20ft of track at Whitwell station. It is not, however, an extension of the heritage line. The owner of the long-closed station wanted a section of track and a wagon to display near the entrance. A redundant BR-built bolster wagon underframe was taken to the site, onto which the owner of what is now a guest house intends to build a replica coal wagon body as a feature.
